The Cheap Dates are a group of seasoned professional musicians consisting of live guitar, drums and vocals. The Cheap Dates perform in concert with professionally produced backing tracks that are performed and recorded exclusively by The Cheap Dates themselves. The band was formed in 2006 by drummer/vocalist Eric Aardema and guitarist/vocalist Simon Panter.
The Cheap Dates may look familiar to some, as Simon and Eric are also members in one of the most popular bands in the state, Montage. When Montage is not working, The Cheap Dates get to work, and are considered by many listeners as a "Mini Montage".
The Cheap Dates are certainly not your typical "singer/guitar player duo" singing campy folk songs. The Cheap Dates have a huge full band sound. The Cheap Dates will soothe your soul with your favorite slow dance songs and then turn around and rock your socks off with all of the greatest rock, pop, 80's hits, and reggae music.

Well, I finally did it. I signed us up on Facebook. I'm still a little green when it comes to networking sites, but I thought that it was time to give it a go. Myspace just seemed a little to "young" for us, so Facebook it is.
